Wow! With the Tiny House craze hitting TV now this thing is getting big and no doubt will get bigger as people recovering from being upside down on mortgages and bankruptcy will look to keep it simple and with tighter lending requirements the option to go tiny is looking good! I really see it going tiny or communal with families occupying larger homes and sharing resources. This style of living is only new to us in the U.S. since many countries and their populations have been living this way forever! Look into the tiny house craze and it will grow on you I promise! I've decided to blog our journey to what may be called a simpler life I guess the popular. This journey begins at a time when the economy is terrible, house sales are dismal and values though stable are not going up anytime in the near future while property taxes go up to compensate for decreasing values and so on. The good thing is our debt is minimal, we are far from upside down on our mortgage and we may soon be afforded the luxury of developing a timeline with goals for at least the near future. I'm in no way claiming to know the answers that will no doubt come our way in this process, but I know the guy that does and I'm in regular contact with him. So keep checking back I will post at least once a week (my goal) and have some tidbit or nugget regarding what we've discovered about the simple things! Regards, Chip
